The ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working Group, VICARTE Research Unit and Department of Conservation and Restoration from the NOVA School of Sciences and Technology (FCT NOVA) are pleased to bring you Recent Advances in Glass and Ceramics Conservation 2022: the 6th Interim Meeting of the ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working Group.
The conference will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, in a hybrid format, with options for both in-person and online attendance and presentation. This is a new format for our Working Group, and we are thrilled to expand our reach and increase access to the glass and ceramics conservation community.
The venue will be the Pharmacy Museum in Lisbon. Over the years, the Health and Pharmacy Museum has become a reference both at national and international levels. The thousands of visitors received every year and the numerous prizes awarded to the Museum are proof of the quality of our project. Opened in June 1996 in Lisbon, the Health and Pharmacy Museum is the result of the unequivocal desire of the Portuguese Pharmacies to preserve the history of the pharmaceutical profession.
Selected papers will be peer-reviewed by members of a dedicated scientific committee and published as digital preprints. The digital preprints will be provided to meeting attendees - both in-person and online - and will also be available after the meeting on the ICOM-CC Publications Platform and for print on demand at www.lulu.com. Please note that, for the publication, all authors will be required to transfer the copyright of the contribution to ICOM-CC.
