ICOM-CC organizes Triennial Conferences to bring together professionals from all over the world who are interested in conservation. The Conference represents the apex of the triennial activity of the Committee and of its Working Groups.
Recent Triennial Conferences have been held in Copenhagen in 1984, Sydney in 1987, Dresden in 1990, Washington DC in 1993, Edinburgh in 1996, Lyon in 1999, Rio de Janeiro in 2002, The Hague in 2005, New Delhi in 2008, Lisbon in 2011, Melbourne in 2014, Copenhagen 2017 and the first virtual conference: Beijing 2021.
The next ICOM-CC Triennial Conference (21st) will take place in Oslo, Norway, 14-18 September 2026.
