Conserving and Caring for Contemporary Works of Art
Next year the WG's for 'Education & Training' and 'Modern Materials and Contemporary Art' are holding a joint Interim meeting in Maastricht in order to consider how best to develope the knowledge and skills required to conserve and care for contemporary works of art.
I would like to begin that debate through the ICOM CC website and in the first instance would like to ask anyone who already offers a programme addressing these issues to get in touch with me (jean.brown@northumbria.ac.uk) so that we can make sure that you are central to the debate.
I would also like to invite anyone who has conserved and cared for contemporary works of art to share their experiences with us with regard to the type of training and education that would best support their work
Many Thanks
Jean Brown
