CALL FOR PAPERS
ENAMEL 2018: 7th Experts’ Meeting on Enamel on Metal Conservation
State Academy of Art & Design, Stuttgart, Germany
7-8 June, 2018
Deadlines for submission of papers:
- Short abstract (200-300 words): July 15, 2017
- Accepted abstracts, extended version (1200-2000 words): September 30, 2017
Following the last meeting of the ENAMEL ICOM-CC network at the National Museum in Warsaw, Poland, we’re heading south but still central! Invited by our founder, Gerhard Eggert, the 2018 meeting will take place at the State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart, Germany.
The meeting will consist of one and a half days of lectures. Contributions may cover all aspects of the conservation, history, technology and science of enamels on metal. The official conference language is English. A visit to the Landesmuseum Württemberg in Stuttgart will be organised on Saturday the 9th of June.
The conference will be supported by the conservation department of the Landesmuseum Württemberg.
Please send short abstracts for oral presentations or posters (200-300 words, including title, author(s)’ name(s), address of corresponding author) to Agnès Gall-Ortlik at enamelgroup@gmail.com until July 15th, 2017. Successful authors will be notified and asked to submit an extended version (1.200 – 2.000 words) until September 30th, 2017.
