CONSERVATION NOW - Combined Interim Meeting of the Education & Training and the Preventive Conservation Working Groups
Saturday 23 November 2013 (Categories: Education and Training in Conservation, Preventive Conservation)
The ICOM-CC Working Groups 'Education & Training' and 'Preventive Conservation' co-ordinated their combined interim meeting 'CONSERVATION NOW' at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th September 2013. The meeting sought to understand the current and future demands on conservation practice in order that conservation programmes can maximise the employability of their graduates. In advance of the meeting data had been gathered on the experiences of conservation graduates, the conservation programmes, practising conservators as well as those employing conservators. The programme and papers presented at the interim meeting are located at the following link:

The findings of the CONSERVATION NOW survey will be made available as a separate ICOM-CC publication in 2014
