RECENT ADVANCES IN GLASS AND CERAMICS CONSERVATION

ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working Group Interim Meeting

25-29 May 2016, Wrocław, Poland

Following a sequence of successful meetings, including Nova Gorica (2007), Corning (2010), and Amsterdam (2013), the ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working Group has organised a conference in Wrocław, Poland.

The three-day conference included thematic sessions on research in progress and case studies related to glass and ceramics conservation and scientific investigation. A limited number of posters has been displayed. Several post-conference tours were offered to allow participants to explore glass making as well as museum collections in Poland. Following the format of the previous meeting in Amsterdam, a Student Forum followed the conference.

Publication: The publication of colour preprints, retaining an important feature of previous Interim Meetings can be found on this web site. All contributions have been peer-reviewed by members of the scientific committee.
